Layering 101

This season I am all about big, long layers. This week is one of the first weeks that is going to really feel like fall, the first thing I did when I woke up this morning was pull my boots out of their summer hibernation. This look is an unexpected combination but comes together for the perfect fall outfit.

First of all, this fringe skirt is basically what every other skirt dreams of being. I paired a boxy sweater over the skirt, since the skirt has a long and more fitted silhouette this allowed for the outfit to maintain shape. You can still achieve a boho-inspired, layered look without completely losing your shape! I decided to embrace my (lack of) height for once and wear flats. It is so difficult to find a flattering pair of flats, but these one do the trick! I can't wait to share more of my layering tricks with you all season.
