Ladies Who Lunch

The temperatures are rising again and even though I am so ready for fall, Chicago weather is not.  On a hot day like today it is difficult to look sophisticated while still staying cool.  This Camixa shirt (shop here) was the perfect piece for my lunch date with my momma.  We sat outside and I was perfectly comfortable in this lightweight shirt.  For summer I love leaving buttons undone and letting the shirt hang open, it gives you that effortlessly cool beach girl vibe, even though in reality you totally spent two hours on your beach waves.  I don't love wearing short-shorts but this pair changes my mind every time I put them on.  These Urban Outfitters cargo shorts (shop similar) have a relaxed fit making them totally appropriate to wear to a ladies lunch.   A little heel (shop similar) goes a long way with a pair of shorts, only a couple inches will give you legs for days.  I finished off the look with some gold jewelry and gold accented sunnies.  Be sure to check out my snaps from todays lunch date @ danimikay on Snapchat.
