Twinning: Father Daughter Edition

I had way too much fun with my Mother's Day post not to continue the trend to Father's Day. I am so lucky to be blessed with outgoing and creative parents who let me dress them (not that they need style help) and pose for photos with a smile. For Father's Day I got Dan a new Ben Sherman sport coat (shop here), this stone color is perfect for summer. To add some pizazz to his coat I found this amazing three piece kit by Penguin (shop here), I couldn't get him to wear the bowtie but the flower pin and pocket square were a good start! This kit is such a fun gift idea, I found it at Nordstrom Rack. He paired his new duds with a white button-up and dark jeans, a jacket and some small accessories are the perfect way to upgrade your day to day look. To match Dan's spiffy summer look I wore my mother's Anthropologie gingham dress (shop similar) and a pair of tan sandals (shop similar).
I am off to spend the next six weeks in Salt Lake City at Ballet West. I will be blogging but I will be most active on Snapchat (danimikay) and Instagram (mermaidwaves).
